EaveWorks vs JobNimbus

Last checked: October 24, 2026. We make EaveWorks. Every JobNimbus fact below comes from JobNimbus's own pricing page, help center or App Store listing, linked at the bottom. JobNimbus does some things better than we do, and we say which.

JobNimbus and EaveWorks both run a roofing job from lead to paid invoice, and both include e-signatures and an API on every plan. The real differences are in how each one grows with your company:

• JobNimbus sells four plans, each capped by users, automations, integrations and locations. You get a quote, and texting is a separate bundle.
• EaveWorks sells one flat monthly price based on your annual revenue. It's published on our site, with unlimited users, locations and texting.

Where EaveWorks is different

Your whole team, every branch. JobNimbus plans top out at 3, 10 and 19 users before Enterprise. Multi-location isn't available on Essentials, and is capped at 2 branches on Pro and 5 on Premium. Texting is included. At JobNimbus, two-way texting (Engage) comes in a Communications Bundle with no published price, offered "for current JobNimbus customers only". Texting note: EaveWorks includes built-in consent tracking and automatic STOP/opt-out handling, and opted-out contacts are never texted. It's for one-to-one job conversations, not mass texting.

No automation or integration ceilings by plan. JobNimbus's lower plans cap active automations (10 on Essentials, 30 on Pro) and integrations (2 and 5). EaveWorks doesn't sell features by tier. Every plan has everything. Automations

A price you can see. JobNimbus's pricing FAQ explains there's "an account-based price for the CRM" plus "role-specific Project Management pricing". You find out the number by requesting a quote. Ours is on our pricing page.

30 days to try it. JobNimbus's 14-day trial with no card is good. Ours is 30 days, also with no card, which is enough to run a few real jobs through it.

Payment fees, worked out

Both companies publish their payment rates, so here's the math. JobNimbus figures are its published starting rates. JobNimbus notes that some customers have different rates.

Cards: EaveWorks' flat 3% costs less than JobNimbus's 3.2% + $0.29 on every card payment. (It isn't the lowest card rate available. Roofr, for example, publishes 2.8% + 30¢.)

ACH: EaveWorks costs less on ACH payments under $10,000. JobNimbus caps ACH at $50, so on bigger payments, like a full roof paid by bank transfer, JobNimbus's ACH fee is lower. JobNimbus also lists a one-time $20 boarding fee and $15 per chargeback. Invoicing & payments

Where JobNimbus is better

• The phone app. JobNimbus's app has 4.8 stars from 13,000 App Store ratings. EaveWorks has a phone app, but it's new and doesn't have that kind of track record yet.
• Track record and community. JobNimbus has been around since 2013 and serves thousands of contractors. It also runs events and publishes an industry benchmark report.
• QuickBooks and suppliers. Every JobNimbus plan includes QuickBooks sync and supplier integrations with ABC Supply, SRS (Roof Hub) and QXO. EaveWorks connects to QXO today, plus CallRail, Twilio texting, Facebook lead ads and Fixr.
• Measurements, insurance and financing connections. JobNimbus orders EagleView and Hover reports. Its help center documents an Xactimate/XactAnalysis integration, and it offers Wisetack financing.
• Proposals. SumoQuote, a dedicated proposal tool, is now part of JobNimbus.
• Possibly lower cost for a very small team. If you have two or three people and don't need texting, JobNimbus Essentials may cost less than our $749 starting price. Get a quote and compare.

Which should you choose?

Choose JobNimbus if your crew's phone app is your top priority, you need QuickBooks, ABC/SRS ordering or EagleView/Hover today, or you're a small team that fits comfortably inside a plan's user limit.

Choose EaveWorks if you're growing past JobNimbus's user or location caps, want texting without a separate bundle, run several branches, or want one published monthly price that doesn't change when you hire.

Switching from JobNimbus

EaveWorks moves your JobNimbus data for free. JobNimbus advises backing up your account before you cancel, because it "does not guarantee to hold data for canceled accounts". Its terms allow "a reasonable fee for data export requests". They also require 30 days' notice before your renewal date, or the cancellation slips to the end of the following period. Accounts opened from March 2026 cancel or downgrade through their Customer Account Executive. Older accounts start from the Cancel button and then schedule a call or fill in a form.
