Software Advice's breakdown, from search results: 327 five-star, 124 four-star, 24 three-star, 2 two-star and 5 one-star. Software Advice is Capterra's sister site (G2 bought both in February 2026), and the numbers match, so we don't count them as separate evidence. G2 marks some recent JobNimbus reviews as invited on behalf of the seller.

Why the scores differ. Software review sites collect many reviews through vendor invitations, and they tend to be happy customers. Trustpilot is open to anyone, and people with a problem are more likely to post there. Read both.

What roofers praise

Easy to use. Ease of use is JobNimbus's most-praised theme on Capterra, with 93% of about 130 reviews on it positive (search-result summary). Software Advice reviewers like customizing job statuses to fit their own process. Roofing Software Guide lists its drag-and-drop boards and customizable workflows as top strengths.

The phone app. 4.8 stars from about 13,000 App Store ratings and 4.7 from about 1,730 Google Play reviews. One App Store reviewer who switched from AccuLynx praised the app.

Easy to try. A 14-day free trial with no credit card, and "no required setup or onboarding fees," per JobNimbus's pricing page.

Onboarding. Capterra's summary shows 93% of 30 reviews about onboarding and training are positive (search-result summary). Several 2025 Trustpilot reviews thank onboarding staff by name.

Integrations. Supplier ordering with ABC Supply, SRS, QXO and Beacon PRO+, plus EagleView, Hover, CompanyCam, QuickBooks, SalesRabbit and Spotio.

What roofers complain about

Email reliability. Roofing Software Guide calls this the top complaint and says a fix was on JobNimbus's 2026 roadmap but hadn't shipped. A Capterra reviewer in December 2024 said email problems were the biggest reason they were switching, after a missed email led to a BBB complaint against their own company (search-result summary).

Support and account management. 2026 Trustpilot reviews describe calls and emails going unanswered, no training after onboarding, and several account manager changes. Capterra's summary shows 59% of 39 reviews about glitches and support are negative (search-result summary). Roofing Software Guide lists inconsistent support as a con.

Price increases and add-ons. A long-time user on Trustpilot (July 2026) cites price increases, and a March 2026 reviewer says add-on costs were high. Roofing Software Guide lists rising add-on costs as a con. JobNimbus doesn't publish prices, uses role-based pricing for admin, sales and field users, and sells its Marketing and Communications (texting) bundles separately. More in JobNimbus pricing.

Mobile, despite the ratings. App store ratings are excellent, but Capterra's summary shows 56% of 39 reviews about mobile are negative, citing crashes and slow performance (search-result summary). On Google Play, 2026 reviewers say a "Threads" update mixed notes in with everything else and made them hard to find.

Reporting and job costing. Roofing Software Guide reports complaints about the Insights reporting module and no job costing, and says JobNimbus isn't built for commercial roofing. It also notes per-job photo limits.

Billing, cancelling and your data. JobNimbus's help center says removing seats earns "no credits or refunds," deactivated users keep billing until you contact your account executive, and it "does not guarantee to hold data for canceled accounts." For accounts opened before March 2026, cancelling means scheduling a call or filling out a form, depending on your plan. On Trustpilot, a May 2025 reviewer alleges billing problems after trying to cancel, and an August 2026 reviewer says contact stopped once they asked to cancel.

Payment fees. JobNimbus Payments charges 3.2% + $0.29 on cards and 1% on ACH, capped at $50.

Who JobNimbus suits, and who might look elsewhere

JobNimbus is a strong fit for small-to-mid residential roofers and storm companies with lots of leads (Roofing Software Guide's "best for"), teams that want a great phone app, and owners who want to try before they buy.

You might look elsewhere if you do commercial work or need job costing, if a missed email would really hurt you, or if you'd rather your price didn't change with every seat and add-on. Compare options in JobNimbus alternatives and our best roofing CRM guide.

Where EaveWorks fits

Where JobNimbus is ahead: its app is very well rated, it includes e-signatures too, it connects to more suppliers and measurement tools, and it has years of customer reviews. We're new and have none yet.

Where we differ: EaveWorks is one flat monthly price by annual revenue, from $749 a month, with unlimited users and locations (multi-location). Texting and job costing are included, not separate bundles. (Texting has built-in consent and STOP/opt-out handling, and it's for conversations with your own customers, not mass texting.) Cards are a flat 3%, under JobNimbus's 3.2% + $0.29. Our ACH is 0.5% with no cap, so on payments over $10,000 JobNimbus's $50 cap costs less. You get 30 days free, no credit card, and we move your data from JobNimbus for free. See EaveWorks vs JobNimbus.
