How to switch from JobNimbus to EaveWorks

Last checked: October 24, 2026. We make EaveWorks, a different roofing CRM. Every fact about JobNimbus on this page comes from JobNimbus's own terms, help center and website, and the sources are listed at the bottom. Your own JobNimbus order or agreement can set different terms, so check it too.

Moving off JobNimbus comes down to three things: knowing your renewal date, exporting your data while your subscription is active, and getting it into your new system. EaveWorks moves your data from JobNimbus for free.

The short version

1. Find your JobNimbus renewal date. Its terms need 30 days' notice before the next renewal.
2. Try EaveWorks first. The free trial is 30 days, includes every feature, and needs no credit card.
3. Export your data before your subscription ends. JobNimbus says access to your data stops at the end of the subscription term.
4. Send us your files. We bring your data into EaveWorks for free. We never ask for your JobNimbus password.
5. Cancel JobNimbus in time and keep the confirmation.

What JobNimbus's terms say about leaving (as of October 2026)

JobNimbus's pricing page says you don't have to sign a long-term contract and offers "monthly or annual agreements, depending on your plan and onboarding needs." Its Terms of Service (last updated September 23, 2026) set these rules:

An example. Say your JobNimbus plan renews on January 15. Your notice should reach JobNimbus by December 16. Miss it, and the cancellation only takes effect at the end of the next subscription period.

How the free data move works

You export your own data from JobNimbus and send us the files. We bring it into EaveWorks for free, and there's no setup or onboarding fee. We never ask for your JobNimbus password or log in to your JobNimbus account.

Your team doesn't need moving: add everyone in EaveWorks. Users are unlimited on every plan.

Step by step

1. Find your renewal date and terms

In JobNimbus, click your profile icon, then Settings > Subscription > Manage (on accounts from before March 2026: Settings > Admin Settings > Subscription). For newer accounts, JobNimbus's help center says this page shows your subscription type, number of seats, billing total and billing frequency, and lets you open your subscription terms. Count back 30 days from your next renewal date. That's your last day to give notice.

2. Start your EaveWorks trial

Start your 30-day free trial. No credit card, and every feature is on, including texting, payments and material ordering. Set up your company, your branches and your team. Users and locations are unlimited on every plan.

3. Export your data from JobNimbus while your subscription is active

JobNimbus's help center describes two parts:

• Your records as spreadsheets. Build and save a Custom Report with the fields you want, open it, click the three dots next to its title, and choose Export to CSV or Export to Excel. The export only includes the records and columns in that report, so make one report for contacts and one for jobs, and include every field you want to keep.
• Your photos and documents. Open a contact or job and use Download All to save a zip file of its attachments. JobNimbus says you have to do this for each contact or job, and there's no way to export everything to a drive in one step. Start with your open jobs.

4. Send us your files

Tell us you're switching and we'll tell you where to send your exported files. We bring your data into EaveWorks for free. You export your own data, and we work only from the files you send us.

5. Check everything and connect your tools

Spot-check your contacts, open jobs and estimates in EaveWorks. Then connect what you use: QuickBooks, QXO material ordering, ABC Supply and SRS prices for your estimates, CallRail for missed-call text-back, Facebook lead ads and Fixr for new leads, and your texting number.

Texting in EaveWorks follows carrier rules: customers must opt in, STOP replies are honored automatically, and business texting numbers need A2P 10DLC registration. EaveWorks handles that registration for you.

6. Give JobNimbus notice in time

Give notice at least 30 days before your renewal date, through your account settings or by emailing support@jobnimbus.com. Save the confirmation. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, so finish your exports before then.

7. Move your team over

Pick a day and have everyone start working in EaveWorks.

What changes when you're on EaveWorks

• One published price. EaveWorks costs one flat monthly price by your annual revenue: $749 (under $500k), $1,490 ($500k to $1M), $2,490 ($1M to $3M) or $3,490 ($3M and up). JobNimbus shows "Request pricing" on all four of its plans. See pricing.
• No user caps and no branch limits. JobNimbus's plans include up to 3, 10 or 19 users, or 20+ on Enterprise, and multi-location is "Not supported" on Essentials, up to 2 locations on Pro and up to 5 on Premium. EaveWorks includes unlimited users and locations on every plan.
• Texting included. JobNimbus sells its texting tool (Engage) in a separate Communications Bundle, with "Request pricing". EaveWorks includes unlimited two-way texting on every plan.
• Cancel any time. EaveWorks is month-to-month, with no long-term contract and no notice period.
• Your data stays yours. If you ever leave EaveWorks, exporting your data is free.

What you might miss from JobNimbus

We'd rather you hear this from us before you switch:

• E-signatures are included in JobNimbus too. Its pricing page lists eSign in every package, so e-sign alone isn't a reason to switch.
• A well-rated phone app. JobNimbus's app has 4.8 stars from about 12,900 ratings on the Apple App Store. EaveWorks installs as a shortcut on your phone or computer with every feature, rather than through the app stores, so it has no app-store ratings yet.
• A free trial and an open API. JobNimbus also offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and lists API and webhooks on every plan.
• Direct supplier ordering and more connections. JobNimbus's help center lists ordering with ABC Supply, QXO and SRS, plus EagleView, Hover, CompanyCam, Xactimate, QuickBooks, Zapier and others. EaveWorks orders through QXO (which owns Beacon), pulls ABC Supply and SRS prices into estimates, imports EagleView and Hover reports, and connects to QuickBooks, CallRail, Facebook lead ads and Fixr.
