EaveWorks vs AccuLynx

Written by EaveWorks, which makes one of the products compared here. Facts checked October 24, 2026; every one links to its source below.

Last checked: October 24, 2026. We make EaveWorks, so read this knowing that. Every AccuLynx fact below comes from AccuLynx's own website, terms of service or App Store listing, and links to its source at the bottom. We've included the areas where AccuLynx is stronger.

AccuLynx is one of the best-known roofing CRMs, in business since 2008. EaveWorks follows the same lead-to-closed workflow roofers already know: Lead, Prospect, Approved, Completed, Invoiced, Closed. The biggest difference is how you pay for it.

  • AccuLynx charges a monthly fee for each user license, gives you a custom quote, and sells many tools as optional add-ons.
  • EaveWorks charges one flat monthly price based on your annual revenue. It's published on our site, and every user, every branch and every tool are included.

What's included at EaveWorks that's an add-on at AccuLynx

AccuLynx's plan page lists nine "additional tools to enrich your plan". On its add-ons page you "select and activate supplemental features". Apart from AccuFi financing, which it calls free, none has a published price. At EaveWorks, these are part of every plan:

  • E-signatures. At AccuLynx, proposals and signatures come through Smart(er) Docs, an add-on. AccuLynx's own app FAQ confirms you need Smart(er) Docs enabled to collect signatures in the Field App. EaveWorks e-signatures are free and unlimited, with no per-envelope charge. Estimates, proposals & e-signature
  • Two-way texting. An add-on at AccuLynx. Unlimited on every EaveWorks plan, with a unified inbox for calls, texts and emails on each job. Texting
  • The API. AccuLynx requires the AppConnections add-on for "select third-party app connections as well as AccuLynx API keys". EaveWorks' API is free and self-serve, including a website lead-capture endpoint. Open API
  • Customer portal and sharing. An add-on at AccuLynx. Included at EaveWorks.
  • Every branch. On AccuLynx, multiple company location set-up is an Elite feature. EaveWorks gives each branch its own name, address, proposal branding and reporting at no extra cost. Multi-location
  • Every user. No license count, no minimum, and nothing to deactivate 30 days ahead.

Texting note: EaveWorks includes built-in consent tracking and automatic STOP/opt-out handling, and opted-out contacts are never texted. It's built for one-to-one job conversations, not mass texting.

Where AccuLynx is better

We'd rather you hear this from us than find out after you switch.

  • Track record. AccuLynx has served roofers since 2008 and has thousands of customers and a large body of reviews.
  • Integrations. AccuLynx connects to ABC Supply, SRS and QXO for ordering. It orders measurement reports from EagleView, GAF QuickMeasure, Geospan and Hover, and syncs with QuickBooks and Sage Intacct. It also links to CompanyCam, SalesRabbit, Spotio, Angi, HubSpot, Zapier and more. EaveWorks connects to QXO, CallRail, Twilio texting, Facebook lead ads and Fixr today. If your process depends on ABC, SRS, EagleView or QuickBooks sync, AccuLynx does that now.
  • Insurance restoration tools. AccuLynx's Elite plan includes supplement tracking, mortgage check tracking and permit tracking. Independent reviewers consistently rate it the strongest CRM for insurance-heavy contractors.
  • Training and support. AccuLynx gives every new customer free 1:1 training and offers live phone and email support.
  • Spanish-language crew app. AccuLynx's Mobile Crew App add-on translates between English and Spanish for crews.
  • Enterprise reporting. ReportsPlus and DataMart (add-ons) serve large and private-equity-backed multi-branch groups.

Comparing the real cost

We can't put an AccuLynx dollar figure on this page, because AccuLynx doesn't publish one. Third-party sites quote $60 to $120 per user per month, but Roofing Software Guide says it can't confirm those numbers, so we don't use them. Here's how to compare fairly:

Ask AccuLynx for, in writing:

  1. The price per user license, and your minimum user count.
  2. The price of each add-on you'd use: Smart(er) Docs (e-sign), Texting, Customer Portal, AppConnections (API), ReportsPlus, Mobile Crew App.
  3. Whether you need Elite (multiple locations, production calendar, supplement tracking).
  4. AccuPay card and ACH rates.

Then compare it with your EaveWorks tier. That's one number, the same whether you have 5 users or 50:

Your annual revenue EaveWorks per month (everything included)
Under $500k $749
$500k to $1M $1,490
$1M to $3M $2,490
$3M+ $3,490

For a small team with few add-ons, AccuLynx may come out cheaper. The more users, branches and add-ons you have, the more a flat price tends to help. EaveWorks isn't trying to be the cheapest option. It's trying to make the price you see the whole bill. See pricing and the savings calculator

Switching from AccuLynx

EaveWorks moves your AccuLynx data for free. To avoid surprises on your last AccuLynx bills, plan around its terms:

  1. Request your data in writing before you cancel. AccuLynx may delete data after termination and may charge a reasonable fee to provide it.
  2. Cancel at least 30 days before your billing period ends.
  3. Deactivate extra users 30 days before the next billing period. You'll still pay your agreed minimum.
  4. Prepaid annual fees aren't refundable. If you prepaid, time the switch to your renewal date.
  5. Run both side by side for a few weeks during your 30-day EaveWorks trial.

Which should you choose?

Choose AccuLynx if you're an insurance-heavy or enterprise operation that depends on supplement tracking, ABC/SRS ordering, aerial measurement ordering or QuickBooks/Sage sync, and you value a long track record and 1:1 training.

Choose EaveWorks if you want the full AccuLynx-style workflow with e-sign, texting, the API, the customer portal, unlimited users and every branch in one published monthly price, you'd rather try it yourself for 30 days than sit through a sales demo first, and QXO covers your supplier ordering.

Common questions

Is EaveWorks cheaper than AccuLynx?
It depends on your team. AccuLynx doesn't publish prices, so we can't say for certain. EaveWorks costs $749 to $3,490 a month depending on your annual revenue, with unlimited users and no add-ons. Teams with many users, several branches or several AccuLynx add-ons are the most likely to save. A very small team with no add-ons may not.
Does AccuLynx charge for e-signatures?
AccuLynx provides e-signatures through Smart(er) Docs, which it lists as an add-on (October 2026). Its app FAQ says you need Smart(er) Docs enabled to create proposals and collect signatures in the Field App. EaveWorks includes unlimited e-signatures on every plan.
Does AccuLynx have a free trial?
We found no free trial on acculynx.com in October 2026. AccuLynx offers a demo and a custom quote. EaveWorks offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card.
Can EaveWorks move my data from AccuLynx?
Yes, for free. Ask AccuLynx for your data in writing before you cancel. Its terms say it may delete data after termination.
Does EaveWorks work with ABC Supply, SRS, EagleView or QuickBooks?
EaveWorks connects to QXO for material ordering, CallRail, Twilio texting, Facebook lead ads and Fixr today. AccuLynx connects to all four of the tools you asked about. If you depend on one of them, ask us before you switch.
Is there a contract with either one?
EaveWorks is month-to-month. AccuLynx says it doesn't lock you into contracts. Its terms still require 30 days' notice before the end of a billing period, charge for your agreed minimum users, and don't refund prepaid annual fees.
